Cooking
He's currently writing his own cookbook and would recommend it - if only it was finished. Instead, Jeff Crosland, the fabulous chef at the Parallel 88 restaurant in Zion National Park recommended this:
"I think this is the most extraordinary collection of talent and of human knowledge that has ever been gathered together at the White House – with the possible exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone." President John F. Kennedy welcoming forty-nine Nobel Prize winners to the White House in 1962
"For swift and efficient travel, give me Amundsen; for scientific investigation, give me Scott; but when you are at your wits' end and all else fails, go down on your knees and pray for Shackleton." Raymond Priestley
Literary Humor
Outside a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside a dog it's too dark to read. Groucho Marx
