One of the most definitive works on the subject of the soul and lifes journey, was written in 1909 by William George Jordan, called The Crown of Individuality. It is out of print, but can be found on google, amazon, ebay. Its a handbook for life. He has written others, such as The Majesty of Calmness, and Kingship of Self Control, and Power of Truth, All are excellent, easy reads, but powerful content.
William George Jordan was a writer for the Saturday Evening Post among other things.
